The Vienna Town Hall is the seat of the Mayor of Vienna as well as the City Council, which has the status of a parliament. Friedrich von Schmidt built it from 1872 until 1883 in the historistic style. The Town Hall facade is an extraordinary example for the secular style of the Gothic Revival. |
